THE PROFILE OF MY FAVOURITE BAND

Coldplay was formed in London in 1997. The members are Chris Martin (vocals, piano and guitar), Jonny Buchland (guitar), Guy Berryman (bass), Will Champion and Phil Harvey (drums). Chris Martin and Jonny Buchland, formed the band in 1997 but they weren't coldplay, they were Pectoralz. In 1998, Will Champion appeared in the group and they name were "starfish ". They started to be more popular in United Kingdom. the songs and the lyrics are written for all the memebers of the band, but Chris Martin writes more songs than the others.

Coldplay's first album, Parachutes, was released in 1997. Their second album, Safety, was released in 1998. They signed a contract in 1998 with a record company which name is Fierce Panda. In 2000 they became more famous, for his bestseller, yellow. They last Cd was Prospekt's March released In summer 2008.Tey best Cd is "Viva la vida" which was nominated on seven Grammy, but they won four of them.

Coldplay play alternative rock, britrock. Until last year, they have won four Grammys, but this year, with the album "Viva la vida", they won four Grammy's.

1. It makes me feel emotional because it is telling de truth.
We love our cities, our places, but, we don't do anything for the people who lives in the street.
